Making a chip that is switchable
Normal LH BINs are 32k, but the 27SF512 has 64k of space. By overriding one of the address lines on the chip, we can create two "virtual chips" using one physical chip.
Tools:
Wire cutter
Chip burner
Materials:
SST 27SF512 or equivalent
Short section of wire
1KО© Resistor
Burning the chip
The first step is to create a 64k BIN file, using two 32k bin files. There are various ways to do this, but the moste straightforward is the BIN stacker in TunerPro (which is made for this purpose)
